For me, the surest sign of procrastination is embarking on an unusual project, just perfect for taking up lots of time, and totally different from the intended task at hand. So when I took the rare step of breaking out my sewing machine this weekend, you know it was because I am procrastinating on my finish-alongĀ  and holiday knitting! I had a lot of fun making little sock-sized project bags for swapping. The instructions for this sewing project can be found here, and it’s a quick, easy pattern, so I suspect I’ll be making more of these, perhaps even for myself!

These bags are fully reversible, so I have 4 pictures of 2 bags that I sewed. Or wait… maybe I did sew 4 bags, since each one can be used two ways? Bend your mind around that one on a Monday morning….

Please excuse the indoor photography, and also the un-ironedness of my sewing. I used to have two irons! But I donated one to Bombpop, and then the other one moved out with my roomate. I’m always forgetting that I need an iron, only to remember right when I need one but don’t have time to buy one…
