feeling fibery
Someone posted to the Lime & Violet board on Ravelry about how spending some touchy-feely time with their yarn stash makes them feel better if they are in a funk or having a bad day. That is how I feel about this yarn:

I had such a good time taking pictures of this Malabrigo merino worsted in Rhodesian. I kept stopping to pet it! But what I like even more than carressing it is squishing it! It is just so lofty and soft. Maybe I could build an entire bed out of skeins of it.

I definitely bought this yarn in a moment of weakness– I couldn’t leave a yarn store empty-handed now, could I?? Odds are good that it’ll become another pair of the Malabrigo Loafers, since that pattern’s just so fun and easy, plus the resulting slippers are cute and comfy. I also happen to have several people in my life who love the color orange.

Speaking of gift recipients, today is Rob’s birthday. I’m happy that the two month period in which he can tease me for being “so much” older than him is over, and we are reunited at the same age. I’m also happy we’ll be going for a nice sushi dinner tonight! Perhaps if you leave him a birthday wishes comment over on his blog, he’ll remember to post to it. He said today would be the day!

Done! In the commenting on Rob’s blog department.
That yarn does look delightful.
Are you guys coming to Family Thing on Sunday?
Also I love the new header up there, the skyline with the scarf. I guess it’s not so new anymore but I kept forgetting to comment on it…
Lovely yarn! Happy birthday to Rob, have a lovely weekend.
happy birthday to rob! yum! sushi!
Gurl I loved doing my yarn porn shoot for Rhodesian too!
My BTS that is OTN is in that colorway and has been a delight knitting!
